Chemtrade was established in 2007 to supply the local paint industry with raw materials and additives. From humble beginnings in an office in Durban – representing only Estonia-based Velsicol and having only one product to sell – the company has grown to become the distributor of a wide range of products.
Today, Chemtrade is the agent and distributor for a range of speciality raw material products into Southern Africa for the paint, ink, construction, manufacturing and detergent sectors.
Chemtrade is the distributor for the Nouryon range of performance additives, wetting agents, compatibilizers, multifunctional additives and Levasil Colloidal Silica.
We also distribute the Celanese range of Elotex redispersible polymer powders and speciality additives.
We have a range of Chempart polysaccharide resins, dispersing agents, emulsifiers; Dynoadd high performance coating additives, Envirospheres ceramic microspheres, HPF high performance fillers, Sepiolsa attapulgite clays, sepiolite clays and bleaching earths. View our Product range here.
